Experienced software developer, solutions architect, and process improvement champion with a passion for delivering results. For nearly a decade, he has been providing clients with outstanding business solutions and enhancing operational efficiency and cost control. As a Senior Enterprise Support Rep at Quickbase Inc., Justin trained and managed a support team dedicated to troubleshooting apps and realms for enterprise-level Quickbase clients.
Later, as a Solutions Architect at a leading Quickbase Gold Partner, Justin designed and developed software applications for small businesses and Fortune 100 corporations, optimizing business processes and database architectural designs. In addition to his in-depth knowledge of software design methodologies and information systems architecture, Justin brings to Synctivate a sincere love of building relationships with co-workers and clients. He is a certified Scrum Master, a certified Quickbase Expert Builder, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. When not delivering elite software solutions, Justin spends time with his beautiful family and cheers on Everton Football Club and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
An experienced program manager, business analyst, and avowed data enthusiast, Marguerite has earned a reputation for achieving superior results across industries. As Program Manager and Senior Developer at some of the top Quickbase Solutions Providers, Marguerite managed the entire software development life-cycle, leveraging her relationship-building and data expertise to bring world-class applications from concept to completion.
Marguerite has a variety of experience working with clients across different industries (including a brief foray as a Ski Instructor). She is particularly experienced with media and entertainment, having worked at CNN International, Universal Studios Home Entertainment and ViacomCBS in various capacities. Most recently, as Senior Manager of Retail Development at ViacomCBS, Marguerite worked with some of the biggest CPG and HBA companies to bring innovative licensed products and retail strategies to mass retail. She is a certified Quickbase Expert Builder and holds degrees from the University of Arkansas and University College London.
When not building out client solutions, Marguerite enjoys hitting the pavement with her local Running Club and skilling up as a beekeeper.
James brings to Synctivate almost two decades of professional management in the hospitality industry. Combined with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from the University of Mary Washington, the completion of Professional Communication, Business, and Organizational Leadership courses at a graduate level, knowledge of various programming languages and an overall can-do attitude with a passion for making a difference, James looks to add incomparable value to the team. He is a certified Quickbase Expert Builder and loves solving problems; the more challenging, the better!
James is a proud father, husband, and loves spending time with his family. When not busy imparting his wisdom to help businesses worldwide run more efficiently, he is intently following his favorite sports teams: the New York Mets and Philadelphia Eagles. LGM and Fly Eagles, Fly!
Director of Operations
Software developer and expert teacher, project manager, and entrepreneur committed to uncompromising quality and customer service. A world traveler with extensive international experience, Zach lived in Prague, Czech Republic where he taught Legal and Business English on-site at major corporations including Renault, HSBC, Czech Airlines, and Sara Lee. He then moved to Washington, D.C. where he executed a logistics budget of over a million dollars for a U.S. Department of Treasury contract.
As a Regional Specialist for Latin America, Zach managed complex subcontractor transitions, developed project management software user documentation, and contributed to an IMF contract-winning proposal. Zach brings to Synctivate experience in talent acquisition, contracts, technical writing, adult learning strategies, and mentorship. He is a certified adult educator, a Quickbase Developer, and a graduate of the University of Virginia. When not providing high quality software documentation and training solutions, Zach is shooting films, making “hit” records, studying foreign languages, and cheering for Liverpool Football Club and UVA Athletics.
Customer Solutions Manager
David is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science. Along with his interest in new technologies, he broadened his studies to include Classics, Communication and Business education in an effort to become a well rounded member of our team.
In his career David has worked for family-owned local businesses, Fortune 500 corporations, and local government. All those experiences have made him goal-oriented and client focused. A loving husband, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their dog, Lillie. Also an avid sports fan, David will root for D.C. area sports teams.
Passion and his dedication to mastery are just two attributes that George brings to Synctivate! Starting off his professional career in the fitness world, George is making a career change to fully utilize his passions for leadership and management. He brings with him extensive experience in client communication and problem solving, seeking to help Synctivate grow day by day.
With a passion for technology and its ability to make teams and systems run more efficiently, George is enthusiastic about delivering the best products possible to Synctivate’s customers. Most importantly, he recognizes that no team cannot work without communication and collective effort, and is excited to bring his skills and abilities to the Synctivate team.
When not expertly leading our team of savvy developers, George enjoys fishing, mountain biking, and CrossFit! George is a proud husband to his wife and a loving father to his daughter.
What does Daniel bring to Synctivate? Fiery passion and relentless commitment! In his academic career, he has achieved his Associate of Business Administration and is currently working towards his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington. He derives further knowledge from his past work experiences, from learning about the technical sector while working at a Fortune 500 company, to developing his public speaking and improving on communication while working as a server, to developing his leadership and teaching ability while working as a tutor for his local college. Beyond his learnings from past experiences, Daniel also brings the intangibles of always wanting to finish what he starts; his everyday motto is ,“anything can be done with time, and anything that is unknown can be learned."
Outside of work, Daniel likes to spend his free time working out, playing the piano, volunteering, or just hanging out with friends and family. In addition, Daniel is interested in fashion and art, as well as a wide variety of music and classic movies. For sports, Dan cheers for local Washington and Virginia teams, as well as the Atlanta Falcons and Chelsea Football Club.
Dedication and eagerness to learn are just two of many attributes Tyler brings to Synctivate! Currently enrolled at Germanna Community College, Tyler is working to achieve his associate degree in Cybersecurity. Through his educational and prior work experience, Tyler has acquired a foundational knowledge of computer software and a diverse skill set. Most importantly, Tyler understands the importance of being a team player, is task driven, and welcomes the opportunity to gain additional knowledge on his way to becoming an effective team member.
Beyond work, Tyler enjoys making oil paintings, snowboarding, and is quite the movie buff. Staying true to his roots, you will also hear Tyler cheering on his Minnesota sports teams!
Robert is a current senior at the University of Mary Washington, where he will soon earn his Bachelor of Computer Science. While at UMW, he placed 1st overall in both the 2021 Hackathon and 2021 Extravaganza programming competitions. During the 2020-21 school year, Robert served as VP of the University's computing club and helped organize local programming competitions. His current academic projects include research into agent-based modeling and working with local governments to help improve communities.
In his free time, Robert enjoys creating open-source resources, learning new things, and playing video games.
Dylan is a senior at the University of Mary Washington. He is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Computer Science in the spring of 2022. In order to improve his leadership skills, he graciously agreed to be the president of the Mary Washington Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) club. Hard work, perseverance, and the joy of programming have allowed Dylan to keep up a 4.0 GPA in the Computer Science department while at Mary Washington. Similarly, Dylan uses hard work and perseverance while working for Synctivate to finish every project above and beyond expectations.
When he is not working hard to improve his programming skills, Dylan enjoys the company of his friends and family. He also enjoys watching local professional sports and playing recreational sports. Staying active is important to Dylan; he is an enthusiastic member of the UMW baseball club, and he likes taking long bike rides in his free time.
